Melamine foam has a nano 3D hexagonal open-cell network, with low thermal conductivity whose thermal conductivity is 0.032W/m.k. The hexagonal network of the cells efficiently prevents convection of heated air, thus providing excellent heat insulation. It benefits from the melamine foam's stability in high temperature environments.
