Melamine foam is a kind of foam plastic which is produced via polycondensation of sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate and melamine-formal dehyde resin. It has a nano 3D hexagonal open-cell network, with an open-cell rate up to 99.9%.
Melamine foam is characterizedby having low density, excellent sound absorption and thermo insulation properties, high durability and permanent flame retardancy. It satisfies global fire safety standards and is widely applied in architectural acoustics and industrial infrastructure. It can be applied as sound absorption and heat insulation components in engines, trains and aircrafts.
Furthermore, the super hard nano-fibers on the surface of melamine foams has incredible stain removal ability, which makes it the ideal cleaning tool.
